Plan A: Hue - Hoi An

Itineraries:

Day 1: Hue – Arrival.

Arrival at airport in Hue. We welcome you and transfer to hotel. Rest of the day is your leisure in Hue.

Overnight in Hue.

Day 2: Hue – city tour (B,L)

At 08.00, Our guide and driver pick you up at your hotel to discover Hue. We visit is Emperor Minh Mang’s Mausoleum, Emperor Khai Dinh’s Mausoleum. Enjoy a Performance of Vo Kinh Van An – a Vietnam Traditional Kungfu. Continue our visit to Emperor Tu Duc’s Mausoleum. Stop on the way to see how conical hats and incense sticks are made. Enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Afternoon, visit Imperial capital during Nguyen Dynasty and the seven – storey Thien Mu Pagoda on the riverbank. Return by boat on the gentle Perfume River and do not miss the sunset on the river. Come back your hotel at 17.30pm.

Day 3: Hue – Hoi An – My Son Sanctuary (B)

Morning, breakfast at hotel in Hue. After that, transfer to Hoi An. Upon arrival in Hoi An, check-in at hotel.

Afternoon, Our guide picks you up at hotel and leave Hoi An for visiting My Son Holly Land – the ruins of Cham people and was an imperial city during Cham dynasty. Here you can have more chance to explore and understand of technique of Old Cham people in making red bricks to build Tower which still now a secret to everyone, you can see a large complex of religious relics that comprises more than 65 architectural works. It also surprises for those who are curious with architectural art. In 1999, UNESCO labeled the Cham architecture in My Son as a World Cultural Heritage Site. Moreover, you have chance to enjoy traditional music performed by Cham girls in their colorful uniforms.

Day 4: Hoi An – City tour and boat trip to Kim Bong village (B,L)

Morning, we will discover the city of Hoi An by foot. The historic town which used to be a prosperous seaport city from the 16th to 18th centuries is now a beautiful city that can’t be missed while touring the South East Asian region. While walking through the city, we will visit Hoi An’s Colorful Local Market, Tan Ky Old House, Fu Jian Assembly Hall, and the 400-year-old Japanese Covered Bridge. Travelers can also see local residents raise silkworms and produce silk for Hoi An’s burgeoning textile industry.

Afternoon, boarding for a boat trip on Thu Bon River to Kim Bong Village. Have an introduction walk during which the guide will explain the story of Kim Bong Village. Throughout the walk you will have the possibility to admire the shipbuilding area where wooden fishing vessels are built using traditional techniques. You will also make a stop in the carpentry workshop where carpenters create hand crafted furniture and sculptures as well as a range of souvenirs. Hop on the bicycle, go around the island about 45 minutes for relaxation the fresh air of this countryside landscape. Embark on the boat for going back to the port.

Day 5: Hoi An – Departure (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Your leisure until we trasfer you to Da Nang airport for your onwards flight.

Pick you up at airport & transfer into city to visit the Imperial Citadel, the Hue Royal Fine Arts Museum, the Mausoleum of Tu Duc and lunch at the Pilgrimage Village Resort. On the trip back to your hotel, you’ll stop at Ho Quyen where duels between elephants and tigers were once arranged.

Day 2: HUE (B,L)

Today you’ll focus on relaxation with a visit to the local Dong Ba Market and Hue’s beautiful garden houses locally known as “Nha Vuon” which includes a private lunch in the magical setting of one of the houses.

During the afternoon, enjoy some leisure time at the hotel’s facilities or spa. A private sunset dinner cruise on the Perfume River will be arranged in the evening and you’ll find it the perfect opportunity to view some of the country’s most iconic sites while enjoying a delicious three-course meal.

Day 3: HUE – HOI AN (B,L)

Sightseers will surely appreciate this day which includes a stop at the 500-year-old village of Phuoc Tich, enjoy lunch back in Hue at one of the city’s most renowned restaurants, Ancient Hue.

Travel south to Danang City via the scenic fishing village of Lang Co and a visit to the Cham Museum. The day’s adventure concludes with a drive to Hoi An where you’ll enjoy new accommodations at the luxurious Resort.

Day 4: HOI AN (B,L)

Take a step back in time with a trip to the ancient port town of Hoi An, much of which remains as it did hundreds of years ago. Your day continues with lunch at local restaurant, and an afternoon tour of the countryside by motorbike in a side-car to view rice fields and villages.

During the evening, enjoy a fusion-style dinner at the Mango Rooms Restaurant or at another eatery of your choice.

Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 5: HOI AN – DA NANG – DEPARTURE (B)

Breakfast at hotel. Free at leisure till transfer to airport for departure flight.
